Tues, 9/19 (B) & Wed, 9/20 (F&H): finish up any introductory notes from last class, begin with activity reading "When is a species not a species?", go over salamander key answers, discuss rest of species notes, Homework: Taxonomy assignment due next class, read tree lab for next class.
Thurs, 9/21 (B) & Fri, 9/22 (F&H): Turn in taxonomy assignment, tree lab outside. Homework: Work on Tree lab report due Wed, 9/27 (B) & Thurs, 9/22 (F&H) , research planaria.
Mon, 9/25 (B) & Tues, 9/26 (F&H): Go over test, finish first set of notes, begin modern taxonomy notes. Homework: open & copy modern taxonomy notes above, tree identification lab report due next class, work on kingdom chart.
Wed, 9/27 (B) & Thurs, 9/28 (F&H): Tree identification lab report due. Finish modern taxonomy notes, go over taxonomy assignment, talk about planaria research, kingdom chart activity. Homework: Planaria research including reading assignment.
Fri, 9/29 (B) & Mon, 10/2 (F&H): Wrap up any loose ends with taxonomy, cladograms, begin Planaria observation lab. Homework: Write take home essay and study for taxonomy test.
Tues, 10/3 (B) & Wed, 10/4 (F&H): Taxonomy Test 60 min, finish planaria observation lab, work on planaria research. Homework: Planaria research including reading assignment due next class Thurs, 10/5 (B) & Fri, 10/6 (F&H) also read p.20-23 of Chpt 2, Chpt 13 reading assignment due Mon and Tues.
